Mr Strong heads south - 2012

Mummy decided Daddy should spend some more time in South Africa in 2012, and Mr Strong came along too.  First stop was Johannesburg, and then Mummy drove us to the Kruger National Park.  WE stayed in Skukuza camp in a rondawel.
Mr Strong found his spot in the car pretty quickly.


He also found his favourite spots at the rondawel, but once he saw all the vervet monkeys running around, he moved inside pretty quickly!



We saw lots of animals - yes that is a lion sauntering around the road ahead...


Mr Strong certainly got a tan.


Then we dropped off the car, and flew from Mpumulanga Airport down to Cape Town - safety first!


Once in Franschhoek we hit the wineries.  Mr Strong really enjoyed the views at Uva Mira


But he also liked shaded spots


And luxury tasting rooms


And being under the trees


And being on the stoeps


And looking sideways through glasses!


It was a (hic) very good trip!
